Has anyone got any contacts either managers or High level complaints regarding the passport office? Or any direct numbers to the Belfast offices?

    Nothing specific online.
Could only find the hoops you need to jump through to raise a complaint -

I don't know how they're performing against the 10 week target but this is my experience:
    - Supporting documents for 2 renewals posted together Saturday 23rd April (one child, one adult)
    - Delivery of supporting documents signed for Tuesday 26th April
    - Passport office confirmed receipt of docs for child application Friday 6th May
    - Passport office confirmed receipt of docs for adult application Monday 9th May
    - Passport office confirmed child application approved Tuesday 10th May

My experience is I've had 2 documents sent to them. 2 birth certificates of my late mother sent to their belfast office from the GRO I think it's called. Both times they have said they didn't recieve the documents and keeping saying. Oh maybe we will come across them.

I've asked them can they not cross check it with the GRO. To which they don't answer.

Terrible service. I applied start of Jan and still waiting for my sons passport. Disgrace but couldn't expect much from the things I've heard about passport office and delays etc.

    Update to this:
    - Child passport printed Wednesday 11th May
    - Passport confirmed adult application approved Thursday 12th May

So looks like just over three weeks from sending documents to receiving the new passports, which isn't bad. Maybe it's only first passports rather than renewals that they're struggling with.

@Retireby40 if I were you I'd check to see to see if you can get the birth certificates yourself from the GRO and take them round to the passport office myself

I live abroad hence I can't do that. I've paid and sent it twice. The girl I'm dealing with us useless so I've tagged Abi Tierney in the emails. Hoping it goes to some complaints team. I'm being literally treated like a stupid c u n t.

I keep asking the girl for a supervisor. For solutions and she keeps replying. Oh maybe it was sent to Liverpool or Durham. Or maybe it's in the office somewhere. It's a disgrace to be honest. But I wouldnt expect anything else from SOME civil service workers. Not all.
