British Gas - No Bills/Energy Useage
I am really panicking as Bgas appears unable to show my Gas energy usage and the last time it sent a bill was Sept 2021.
The issue appears to be the website? The App has had 'unable to show'in for months now and it's the same messages via the website.
I've tried chatting with them and explained how worried I am. They've put my monthly payments up twice without telling me and I didn't know they'd done that - the first time it happened they apologised and said it wouldn't happen again but it did 3 months ago.
I keep sending Readings every month for Gas - I only have a smart meter for Electricity as the installer who came said he couldn't fit the gas one as I have an old meter and I'd have to get an electrician to remove the Earth wire and I can't afford that.
where should I go to get help? It's difficult to make a complaint but I really need to know what my gas bill will be and that worries me most

What was the reading on that last bill, was it an actual or estimate?
What is your reading now?
What tariff(s) have you been on (dates)?
Can you tell how much of your DD has been going towards the electricity element of your bill (assuming you're getting those ok)

Getting very stupid now -SOLR'd from Neon Reef mid November- no sign of a bill/statement from BG ( having cancelled in March, the bill they raised in February and not replaced ) - then they asked me to increase my DD in April (for May) - OK.
Now ,even before the May DD has been taken ,they want me to reduce the DD by £15pm ! But my spreadsheet actually indicates that I should actually be paying more not less.
All seems to be in response to given monthly meter readings - but no actual calculations visible anywhere! Are they ever going to produce an actual statement/bill ??
For some customers transferred from elsewhere to BG at the end of last year there is going to be a very rude awakening - but when ???0 -
The more I hear about British Gas the more I never want to join them or have the unfortunate situation of being placed with them as SoLR.
Shocking and my opinion has changed they deserve all the complaints they receive.1
