Oh no Snoozer, hope you feel better soon.
Beautiful dog Maddie and so clever too doing the Sodoku!
I got everything I went for on my shopping trip and the weather has cheered up a bit, bursts of sunshine but some very dark clouds about too.11 -
!!!!!! - so sorry to read this, hope it doesn't affect you both too badly, especially Steve.snoozer said:Hi everyone,
Just a quick one to say I have covid. So has Steve, after all those months of being careful. I had a very high temperature on Friday, lower yesterday a d normal today, just tired and achy now. Steve's not too bad but the hospital have referred him for anti-viral treatment just in case.
I'll be back in a couple of days.

Good afternoon
I don't know where the days gave gone to, I was a bit under the weather yesterday, so spent the day on the sofa watching old episodes of Midsommer Murders 😁then went for my appointment at the chiropodist, she cut of so much hard skin, my feet feel wonderful🦶
I've done a tip run and then been to F@rm F00ds to stock up on baked beans, tuna and washing liquid.
Will go for a short walk later, it's drizzling at the moment but meant to clear up.
Maddie your dog looks gorgeous 😍 I know what you mean about just wanting company, our cats 🐈 are the same😊
Snoozer I hope you and Steve just have a mild dose
Izzy I hope your feet feel better soon
I don't have black pudding either, I don't think it tastes of anything
Have as good a day as you can 🌻

Snoozer - I hope neither of you are too poorly
Maddie - she's beautiful
Had a walk along to Homebase after mam and dads - lots of reduced plants today.
I got 4 Gerbera because they look lovely and colourful and something else with little purple flowers - all for £11 - should have been £5 each. I know nothing about plants and never remember their names - I'm a bung them in and see if they grow type of gardener!
Just had a very nice fishfinger sandwich. Will go out soon and put the plants in if the black clouds pass over11 -
Snoozer I hope you both make a speedy recovery xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9

Afternoon All. We had a little bit of rain overnight and today is dry and fairly mild but dull, no wind either so there'll not be much change.
Not much going on here today as it's Slothful Sunday again (that seems to have come around quickly) but I've managed to make a big pan of pea & ham soup as well as prepping dinner for tonight. Gammon, cabbage & potatoes with strawberries & cream for afters. The BM is whirring away too but I've postponed the baking until tomorrow as I found a couple of sweet treats in the freezer - may as well eat them first before doing more.
DH is currently watching snooker and once I've finished on here I'll be tackling the sewing up of knitting (well, some of it) - not my favourite job but needs must, otherwise what's the point in knitting! I could do with a sewer-upper.
I expect he will want to commandeer the TV tonight for yet more snooker but I don't mind as it's not often he especially wants to watch something. As long as I can have the 9-10 slot to watch tonight's episode of Gentleman Jack, it's OK with me. I remember DS went to Shibden Hall on a school trip when he was about 11 or 12 but I didn't know about its history or Anne Lister then.Happy geraniums, TA - they’re such cheerful and prolific flowerers. I’m in the Love Black Pudding Club, hot or cold.
Glad you enjoyed your breakfast meetup, Gers & camelot.
Give those feet of yours as much TLC as you can Izzy.
DDog may be a cheeky moo, maddie, but she’s so cute. How could you resist those eyes!
Bad luck snoozer, it seems so unfair when you’ve been so careful. Sending get well soon wishes for you both and hoping it’s just a mild dose.
I love going to the chiropodist, SunflOw3r, it’s like having a new pair of feet.
Have a good weekend whatever you're doing. I hope the mums are settled and content too. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.9 -
Picked up by stepdaughter and her husband for a light lunch. Particularly nice to get out as it has been raining steadily here for most of the day. Still knitting bunting for the jubilee celebrations, 13/29 done.
Yorkshire lass so agree about sewing up knitting. It always takes far longer than I think it will.8 -
Gers - I have sewn a large button on top of a knit hat instead of making a pom-pom.
Snoozer - take care of you and Steve. Get well soon.
Maddie - love the dog and the paw prints.8
