ID Mobile billing issue

In 2020, ID Mobile failed to supply me with a phone signal for about a month. (A problem with 3 locally) I contacted them on the ID Mobile chat function and  was told they had logged an official complaint and a couple of days later was called by a woman who said she was a manager. Although she would not accept that ID Mobile was in breach of contract, she informed me that my account was being terminated immediately, 'with no charge' because I was near the end of my contract. I was not given a choice in this. I think what has happened is that they did not close my account immediately and a bill was generated. I did not receive a bill from ID Mobile. Some months later, I was contacted by a debt collector looking for £174, which was something of a surprise as I had no communication from IDM at all. I disputed this bill, made a complaint through Resolver and eventually through the Ombudsman. This alleged debt has passed through six lots of debt collectors now, one of whom has now picked this up a second time. Nearly two years later, I am still being contacted by debt collectors. I am struggling to shake this off, yet I have done nothing wrong and do not owe this money. They did something similar with a family member, but he got worried and paid up.
