I have a 2009 Toyota Yaris and it needs a new front wheel. Toyota have quoted £250 - can anyone suggest a cheaper reliable place to post on line?

eBay?1

We had a guy on here that had one with no back brakes - I'm sure if you search he'll have some spares kicking around (or maybe he retrofitted them to his M4 Comp
)
Seriously though - plenty on eBay from £40 inc postage (or go to your local scrappy and find one with a tyre for nut much more)2 -
So is there anything I need to be careful when buying used wheels? (apart from checking the make of course).0

If wheels only I'm assuming you're wanting matching ones to the other 3 so just a quick check for visual damage (unlikely on something that size they'll be cracked/stress fractured)
If inc tyres then again a visual check and make sure you're comfortable with brand of tyre vs others fitted/your driving style i.e. no point paying £30 extra for a tyre if it's a budget bramd/well worn
