  • That's fair enough. I think it's a good tool to make sure landlords stay compliant, but you can't push things back into ancient history.

    What's the point of that being the law then?!
    All laws are subject to interpretation by judges. It's why we have a judiciary that is (allegedly) fully independant of the leglislature (Parliament, which makes the laws).
    And where a judge is believed to have misinterpreted a law, we have an appeals system, with at least 2 levels of appeal.

    Why do you think that you need to be out by the end of may? A S21 doesn't end a tenancy.
