British Gas and unreliable energy costs on MyEnergy
I'm on the SVR with British Gas with a smart meter. I've been trying to keep a close eye on energy usage which has become very difficult with BG. There have been various posts on this forum about their smart meter and app not showing energy usage since the middle of February, we're now approaching May, quite how they're this incompetent is beyond me.
Due to the issues above, I've been logging into my account on their website, this seems able to provide up to date (ish) information on energy usage. Under the 'MyEnergy' section it gives you what you've spent in £ on energy, however I'm not convinced it is accurate. As as example my energy usage for 25th April was 10kWh electricity & 23kWh for gas, apparently this cost £2.29 & £1.20, that means I'm paying £0.229 per kWh for electric and £0.052 per kWh for gas, yet I'm on the SVR. When I receive my six monthly bill next month, am I to expect a large increase over what their website is currently telling me I'm 'spending', or am I missing something?
As a side note, does anyone know if the standing charge is included in these daily spends, or is that added on to the bill separately.

Hi mine is the same. The amount in £ is now less in April to what it was in March. The app is just rubbish and misleading. I spoke to someone via messenger and they were going to log an issue with their technical team.I worked my monthly usage to be about £80 out for gas and £15 for electric compared to what my usage on app quotes. Thanks0
