Section 75 Help with eBay Managed Payments

Hi. I am looking for a definitive answer on whether Section 75 protects me with payments to ebay by a credit card - no paypal involved.
I find a case on this forum about this, but it does not seem conclusive. I suppose the question is are ebay the seller, or an agent and thus the chain is broken?

You'd need to be clearer on the issue... if you paid eBay and weren't happy with eBay's service then as long as it was over £100 then there is reasonable prospects. If you have an issue with an item you bought from a third party seller and you paid for the item to eBay then S75 is likely to fail as there is a break in the chain in the same way there is with PayPal
