Netflix Denying Knowledge of Downgrade

In March Netflix announced a price increase so I downgraded my account to £10.99 a month. 
It was due to change 28/04/22 and I got a confirmation email. Cone today, not only did I get billed £15.99 but Netflix are denying all knowledge of my downgrade / plan change. Despite having the confirmation email in March they won't help. 
If you change your plan please watch out. I'm going to cancel now.
