Lloyds won't give me a statement for my HTB ISA

Can anyone help me. I'm in the process of obtaining a mortgage and I've been asked to submit a statement of my savings. They're all in a help to buy ISA. Lloyds don't allow you to download a up to date copy and want me to go in branch. The problem is that all the branches in the local area are closed and the next one is about 30 miles away. Can anyone suggest anything else?

  • You have to close your account, and then you should get a closing statement which your solicitor will then use to apply for the money. But only close it when you've been asked to by your solicitor.
I did mine through Barclays (though I did go into branch as we still have a local one).

If it's just to prove you have the funds to your solicitor then I don't have a solution for that as I don't bank with Lloyds.

You can take a screenshot or use the 'Snipping Tool' in Windows to get a screen grab if they will accept that.

I had similar issue with my HTB account with Barclays as they only do annual statements. I had to provide a transaction list to submit along with my most recent statement.

If you can't go in branch then you will have to call up and request this to be posted out to you.
