It would help if we knew what it is made of and if it has been holed.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

HI
The bath is plastic and yes it is holed.
Thanks0 -
ouch!
I'm afraid that you may be looking at a new bath
However, does your buildings insurance cover it and if so, what is the excess? Also, are you likely to lose any no claims bonus for next year?
Alternitively you could repair it with fibreglass on the underside, then gently sand off the topside to smooth it down. The repair will be noticeable though.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
just put some epoxy risen on it nothing ventured nothing gained . been looking at insurance but with the excess not really worth it will see how my temp repair goes . dont want to just change the bath as am saving for a new bathroom . oh why do these things happen0

You could try on your local freecycle, baths and old suites seem to come up fairly regularly round here. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0

Oh so it's not a clean 2 inch hole then...:o
Freecycle is a good idea, now you just need to get someone to fit it, unless you can do this yourself.
Otherwise B and Q were doing steel baths in white for around the £40 mark. If you decided to go with one of these then just change the rest of the suite later when you've got the money.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
