Care parking and Debt Recovery Plus help needed plz!

Good morning all,
I am the owner of numerous private hire vehicles that I rent out to taxi drivers, and have just received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus for £160, saying that I have ignored two previous letters (which I haven't received).
The fine* is for one of our drivers apparently parking in Albert Square Shopping Centre, Widnes, without a permit.
This is the first I've heard of it, and as you can probably imagine, I get quite a lot of speeding fines, parking fines through etc as all the taxis are registered in my name, and generally I just pay them and pass the charge onto the driver in question (unless we are appealing).
I've just spoken to DRP and they said the only thing I can do is pay it. Obviously I told him that I wasn't going to do that but would be happy to pay the original £60 charge and pass it onto the driver of the car at the time.
Any help with this would be gratefully received.
Thanks.

As it's Care Parking, they are part of ParkingEye and should listen to evidence at LBCCC stage, once DRP have given up.
NEVER just pay private PCNs, they are regarded as scam tickets, until the Government regulations are implemented next year. Until the outrageous sums of money and aggressive behaviour are curbed, no registered keeper should pay up.
You do not phone DRPLUS...but...hmmm...this could be useful...did you record the call?
Might be worth doing again (TELL DRP YOU ARE RECORDING THE CALL 'AS YOUR COMPANY ALWAYS DOES') and record as evidence for yourselves and us (and me) and I'll pass it to the Government who are currently implementing the regulation of this rogue industry and appallingly greedy DRAs like DRPLUS.
Can you please repeat the call and record it on a separate phone or device, and give us a link to a recording of what DRPLUS say to a keeper who has never had a PCN? We know they are aggressive moneygrabbers and we want to prove this, with evidence.
I'd like to use it as evidence for Government so if you can stomach speaking to this scam DRA again please repeat the call and ask why PCN was received and what addresses are on file for this case; did DRP get a new address to contact you, with Care having used a wrong one?
Ask: 'why can the keeper not dispute the charge, is resolving disputes not the purpose of debt resolution'?'
Ask: 'Why have you added £70 when the Government banned it in February, with the Minister calling it extortion?'
I would love to have some evidence of their answer. It will also help you see this off in the longer term because I predict they will dig a hole for them and Care by their unreasonable answers.
To anyone else reading this - if you are a robust type, please ring DRAs and roboclaim solicitors chasing your parking 'debts', ask the above questions, and record the calls and please put them on Youtube if they are aggressive and push for payment only, mislead you/lie to you.
I want to start gathering evidence. We should have a thread for people to post their evidence and recordings, to prove these firms are unfit.
Recording a call like this is perfectly legal but you should/must tell them up front, you are recording it.
No paying, no falling for it, of course!
And don't ignore a court claim, nor move house without telling them your new address.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Stop talking to money scammers who add fake amounts. Pointless, Powerless critters, that's DRP ?
Wait to see what the PPC does and then come back.
REMEMBER .... DRP CANNOT DO ANYTHING BUT WASTE THEIR OWN TIME4 -
Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it.
I will do what coupon-mad said and i'll report back.3 -
@Coupon-mad
So as a novice to all of this, can you just answer a few questions for me please?
1. So under no circumstance am I to pay DRP regardless of how much they threaten with letters etc?
2. Can I just leave it until/if Care Parking get back in touch?
I am quite happy to pursue some evidence for you, but after being on hold for 20 minutes yesterday, i'll have to find some time to sort it.
My questions are basically because I still don't know what to do in a nut shell........sorry, but as I say, I'm a novice with all this.
Any response would be gratefully received.0 -

Let's wait to see what Care (Bear) Parking do next.
If you can get a recording for Coupon-mad that would be great but be careful on phone costs.
Being put on hold for 20 mins suggests the phone number you are ringing has a premium charge attached.. Ask your phone provider what the costs are to the number4 -
Ok thanks for your reply. So if I just leave it for now, i'm in no danger of getting blitzed for further charges or CCJ's etc?0

No danger as long as you don't ignore a court claim, or move house and not tell the PPC to erase the old address. Court claims are easy enough to defend from this dysfunctional industry and it's a life experience.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
