Each day two listeners will come to air and answer three ABBA related questions. Whoever answers the most correctly, wins:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS for ABBA Voyage (the “Competition”).

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. 

 

1.       THE ON AIR COMPETITION AND HOW TO WIN – Pre Registration (Competition A)

 

 

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs	Entries are restricted to one entry per person.   Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   Online at Latest Competitions News | Competitions Articles - Magic Radio (planetradio.co.uk)   Online entry is free of charge.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	There will be six on air winners of Competition A, who will receive Prize Package as described in Prize 5.0.   PRE-REGISTRATION   To enter the competition, entrants must pre-register online at magic.co.uk on the relevant ABBA Voyage Pre-Registration page and include their personal details in the form.  9am on Thursday 5th May 2022 for Afternoons with Emma B (5/05/2022) There will be 6 chances to win the Prize Package as described in Prize 5.0 which will be executed on 6 different days in the following shows/dates: Afternoons with Emma B (03/05/2022) which takes place between 1300 and 1600. Afternoons with Emma B (04/05/2022) which takes place between 1300 and 1600. Afternoons with Emma B (05/05/2022) which takes place between 1300 and 1600. Afternoons with Emma B (06/05/2022) which takes place between 1300 and 1600. Magic Weekend Breakfast with Tom Price (07/05/2022) which takes place between 0600 and 1000. The Sonali Shah show (08/05/2022) which takes places between 0700 and 1000. Exact timings of the competition within this broader timeframe will be given by the production team, upon contacting winners. There is the chance that some of these competition rounds will be pre-recorded prior to the show times but after the finalists have been selected. For each of the above competition rounds, there will be 6 semi-finalists chosen by random electronic draw from all valid entries to that point to enter a shortlist for the on-air competition. These finalist draws will take place on; 9am on Tuesday 3rd May 2022 for Afternoons with Emma B (03/05/2022) 9am on Wednesday 4th May 2022 for Afternoons with Emma B (04/05/2022) 4pm on Friday 6th May 2022 for Magic Weekend Breakfast with Tom Price (07/05/2022) 4pm on Friday 6th May 2022 for The Sonali Shah show (08/05/2022)   From the shortlisted 6 semi-finalists, the Magic production team will choose 2 at random to become finalists and take part in the on-air competition to win the prize. If a finalist doesn’t answer their phone within 2 attempts, the production team will choose another finalist from the list at random until they have successfully spoken to 2 finalists who can progress to the on-air competition.   Once a finalist has been chosen and successfully contacted, they will need to follow instructions given by the team in order to bring them to air and play the competition. Specific times to be given on the day by the presenters/ producers, who will arrange with the winners a time to call into the studio. Speaking to a member of the production team does not guarantee you will be invited to play the game or win the prize; only when told you are a finalist by the team will be progress to the competition.   THE ON AIR COMPETITION Each caller will be tasked with answering three different ABBA related questions. The caller who answers the most correctly will win. In the case of a tie, a ‘closest to’ question will be asked by the production team off air prior to the competition – the winner will be the person closest to the correct answer.   These daily winners will receive Prize Package (as stated in Prize 5.0). Only upon being brought to air and being told they are the winner, will an entrant become a winner. All final decisions will rest with the Magic Radio Production Team. The Magic FM Production Team reserve the right to pre-record any part of this competition with contestants before the 'as-live' broadcast.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   From 27th April 2022 at 00:01 (the “Start Time”) to 6th May 2022 at 16:00 (“End Time”).   Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.   Winner Announcement. The name and the hometown of the winners will be announced on 03/05/22-08/05/2022 on-air, on Magic FM in the relevant shows.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Winners must be free to attend ABBA Voyage, at Queen Elizabeth Park in London, on 2nd or 3rd of June 2022, no other dates are available. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms. Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio Brand, will not be eligible to take part in this competition nor will anyone else at their address. If by any chance they get through to the phone lines – any prize they have been successful with will not be awarded. 5. THE PRIZE	6 winners will receive the following prize (the “Prize”):   Prize package for 2 people on the 2nd of 3rd of June 2022 which includes: Return train travel from mainland UK stations to London Return private station transfers in London 1 nights’ luxury hotel accommodation (4* minimum) in London, based on sharing a double/twin room 2 x Tickets for ABBA Voyage at 19:45 on either June 2nd or 3rd 2022 at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Lunch or dinner at top London restaurant (to the value of £50 per person to cover food, drinks and service charge) Travel prizes in UK and abroad protected- Element London ATOL 10207/ABTA Y2441 Winner and guest will have to make their own way to their local train station and back Winner and guest will have to make their own way from the hotel to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park arena and back   The Prize is provided by Element London (the “Prize Provider”). We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.   Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.   Winners must be free to attend on 2nd or 3rd of June, no other dates are available.   *Please note that due to the current Covid-19 situation, there may be delays to delivery and to the winners being contacted by Bauer Media. Unfortunately, children under 3 will not be allowed into the venue, those 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit in the arena on their own. The General Admission area is not recommended for anyone younger than 16; A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into the hotel; Accommodation is based on 2 people sharing a double/twin room; Hotel accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion; All prize elements are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion; All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available; Prize available on set dates only. Prize winners will be given the choice to attend ABBA Voyage on either 2nd or 3rdJune 2022 only and no other dates are available. Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled; All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; The prize excludes travel from the winner’s home address to their nearest train station, meals and drinks (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize; Lunch/dinner at London restaurant provided to a maximum value of £100 (£50 per person) to cover food, drinks and service charges; Prize must be taken in accordance with any government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions in place at the time of travel; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd.
