HMRC Set up a limited company - how??

Been on the HMRC website for 30 minutes, cannot work out how to set up a Ltd company.
Can anyone tell me where to do this on the website.
The site is rather confusing and badly designed.
I'd like to set it up myself.

Yes, but where do you actually make a Ltd company.
How is this done?

A limited company has to be registered with Companies House rather than HMRC. 
Why are you setting up a ltd co rather than going self-employed or similar?

You can buy limited company setups for not a lot.

These guys do free company set up so you don't have to pay the fee  
 
I used them for my business and was easier than going through co house (which I have done before) and took about 5 mins and had my new company docs within an hour. Great service!

They don't. They're opening a business account with Tide who offer a free company formation.
