CredecardPlus is it closing down?

I have been a customer of CredecardPlus for several years for my banking and never had a problem. Last night I received an email saying my account is beling closed.
On visiting the website there is no notification or news saying it is so does anyone know anything,
I have emailed bank in meantime but does someone know something i do not

Your Account is Closing

Dear XXXXX, This email is to notify you that your account is being closed in 2 months. This in line with the terms and conditions of your account and card.   What will happen?  Your Credecard Visa card will cease to work, and your online account will be closed on 25/06/2022.   What do I need to do?  You will need to clear the funds from your account. You can do this by spending the funds with any retailer or merchant who accepts Visa debit cards, or by withdrawing the funds from an ATM machine. If you have lost your card you may order a new one in order to remove the funds from your account. Once your account is empty please destroy your card by cutting through the chip and mag-stripe. What if I need help? If you have any questions regarding the closure of your account please contact customer services.   Kind regards CredeEcard Customer Services

Looks like they just don't want you as a customer anymore and are closing your account as per their terms and conditions (which you would have signed when opening the account).

I know a few people who got the same email, including myself.

I never even signed up for this card. Many years ago I had a card called Talkhome Cat Card. It offered a way to manufacture spend on rewards earning credit cards for free - like many cards offering the same thing, it was inevitably withdrawn and accounts passed to credEcard plus, which is expensive to use and therefore never got used. The Cat card was the very first prepaid card I had so I have a soft spot for it. 

Ah well - plenty more modern, better options out there.

i got the same email from credecardplus about them closing my account what i dont get is last month they issued me a new card and the next thing i get a email about them closing my account and when i signed into my account there is nothing saying that my account is being closed and i have sent a message to customer services but have got no reply back yet
