Where to put tumble dryer

Washer/dryers are fine but you have to know how to use them. Wash a full load and then take half out for drying and then do the other half later or get into the habit of doing small loads which is what I’d do.1

If the HP drier cannot be used at below 5oC, then that will likely rule out the lean-to or any other external, unheated space - full stop.Debbie9009 said:...having now moved the tumble dryer, I can see that the wall behind is covered in mould, and the paint is flaking of as it’s damp, so I suspect this is the problem, so it’s now in the kitchen.
Bendy house, yes it does have ambient conditions, it’s not to be used in anywhere less than 5 degrees, and the lean too does get colder than that in the winter, so probably hasn’t helped either, fingers crossed this one lasts longer.
A normal 'venting' TD would/should, tho', be fine in these places, PROVIDED the room is well ventilated.
The mould you found behind the TD on that wall was not caused by the machine (unless HP types have cooled panels behind them?), but by either a source of excess moisture and/or a lack of ventilation.0
