When choosing your trading name it is wise to avoid anything like Apple or Harrods that could be picked up by a potentially litigious company.Mind you, it worked out well for Roger Virgin a carpenter in S Wales who was pursued by Richard Branson. He stood up to them and they eventually settled the dispute by giving Roger a few thousand pounds, which he donated to charity.
