Help! Need advice for underfloor heating

Just priced up loft insulation from B&Q for 92m²..

100mm rolls (covers 8.3m²) - 11 off @ £22.50

200mm rolls (covers 5.5m²) - 17 off @ £25.00

Total cost of materials = £672.50

Shop around, and you should be able to get someone to supply and fit for around £1K - Just do not get conned in to having spray foam insulation smeared on the underside of your roof. A lot of people are finding it seriously affects their ability to sell the property as a growing number of surveyors are reducing valuations by huge margins (in some cases, valuing at zero).

A thick slab of what @markin ?  Cake?  This is an apartment building we are talking about.

"apartment" could be anything i guess, but my mine jumps to a concrete building rather than a converted Victorian terrace with timber floors.
