Both titled "FYI: Your Direct Debit payment is due soon"

Emails have 95% of the same wording

Octopus signs off: Love and power,
The Octopus Energy team

E.ON signs off: Here's to a brighter future, together.
E.ON Next

Do these respective emails come from the same server?

Its sort of the same of some of the online savings accounts
Newcastle Building Society have a subsidiary which runs the front end of many online accounts on behalf of the actual savings group.
So when you recognize the login procedures or some aspect of the online system as being very similar between providers - then it's likely they are using the same provider of the webservice side to the public.
