Very well done and finally you got a decent Judge! It is so wrong that CEL can put people through this then just discontinue.
I am so pleased you got 4 out of 5 costs awarded. I'd email CEL's legal team and state how much you are owed and provide your bank details.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you, will I now not need to complete the directions questionnaire if they have discontinued the claims?
OK so if I attach my schedule of costs and email CEL they will pay that way? I wasn't sure whether it will be ordered by the Judge as I have had nothing in writing since the hearing.0 -
What is this defence for; didn't you write that the judge had sorted all the claims?ginlover92 said:I filed my defence today and CEL have come back stating they are discontinuing the four claims! I wouldn't have been able to do this without this forum so thank you so much!0 -
No the Judge set aside the 4 judgements but I still had to provide a defence for the original claims.
CEL are due to pay me by 4pm today but I haven't heard anything - do I contact them requesting the money?1 -
Send them an email, with court case(s) reference identifiers, reminding them of the judge's cost order (attach a copy of it to your email if you have it) and give them your bank details (if you're happy) or your postal address for the forwarding of their cheque. Remind them that deadline for payment set by the judge expires at 4pm today. Failure to satisfy the order will result in further enforcement action via a Warrant of Control (or a High Court writ if the cost order is more than £600) without further reference to them.ginlover92 said:No the Judge set aside the 4 judgements but I still had to provide a defence for the original claims.

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
