Plumbing Advice

I want to fit a Tap in my outhouse so I can connect my Hosepipe to it
I do not want to use the self cutting type Tap kit.
I have a Cold water pipe I can use and it has a Stop End Fitted along with an Isolation Valve .
My problem is what size are the fittings required to go onto the cold pipe?
I have measured the internal threads of the End stop and I get 3/4inch or 19mm does this seem right?

Hi. A photo would really help!
In general, tho', threaded water fittings tend to be BSP (British Standard Pipe?) sizes, which are counter-intuitive since they measure differently to what they 'claim'... For example, at 19mm diameter, yours could possibly be 1/2" BSP, which is actually closer to 3/4" or 21mm.
Things like hose threaded connectors are BSP sizes, as are most threaded compression fittings.
Hey, I know what I'm talking about... :-(
    Photos, please

    A photo?
Sounds like an appliance (washing machine) valve to me. Compression Washing Machine Valve Without Check Valve 15mm x

If so, and if the valve works, I think you can remove the stop end, add a 3/4" tap connector and use the valve as a tap
