I am early on the journey to wanted to set up a small gardening business but i have made a start. I have recently passed my pesticide training and am now looking for more training that will help in the future for setting up.(Any suggestions on courses people have done that they thought was a big help, please let me know.) I am looking for weekend work to get some hands on experience but am finding it tough finding businesses/companies. I am keen to learn and even get into the industry but i am thinking that maybe i will need more training/ qualifications to stand out that little bit more. Any advice will be much appreciated

Why are you targeting businesses/companies.

I'm sure 'Joe Public' would pay quicker and not worry about qualifications.

Plus you'll find out what Joe Public wants a gardener to do.

My gardener says her clients are the 'too busy' and the 'too old'. :-)

Near where I live Joe Public can't get a gardener as there are simply none available.
