WATCHING MOVIES ON LAPTOP

Hi folks
I like watching movies on my laptop.   However the sound  quality is not good. 
Is there anything I can do in order to improve this?

    Get headphones, external speakers or a soundbar (either plugged into the audio socket or Bluetooth).

    Most laptops have pretty dire speakers as there's not much room inside for them so there's not much you can do with them
    Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
