G24 - how do you even pay?
Reading across the internet, I know many people have had problems with G24 for years, but I couldn’t find any answer to this query.
A friend of mine has received a PCN from this scam-looking company. £60 within 14 days or £100 thereafter for overstaying by 21 minutes. They have provided photographic evidence of the car entering and leaving the car park.
When you search for the g24 website, you get a warning that it is possibly being used by scammers. The number on the letter doesn’t state g24 when you call, but bizarrely, when you call and enter the Contractual Parking Charge Number their robotic system doesn’t recognise it. This begs the question, how do you even pay for the charge?

You can pay here:
https://www.payyourcharge.co.uk/
BUT,
before even thinking of paying, go here:
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=60
and register and post the details of the parking charge on the forum. There are a few very experienced members on there who will be able to advise if the charge is legitimate or if there is a way to avoid paying.

You would be wise to get your thread moved to the Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking board where there are several people well versed in dealing with these private parking companies.1
