Tumble Dryer Woes

Hello all, hope you can give me some advice?.

New tumble dryer purchased from Very in June 2021.
Dryer stopped working Dec 2021, engineer dispatched early Jan to replace shredded belt.
Replaced belt gone again in April 2022, Very state it has to be a repair again.

Do I have rights to now request a replacement or refund as the repair was obviously not satisfactory and could keep happening if it was only replaced 3 months ago ( although I don't know if there is a time limit for the repair to be satisfactory )?

You can exercise the final right to reject the goods if after one repair attempt the goods still do not conform to the contract.

There are no time limits stated so the first repair being 3 months ago doesn’t affect your position.

Worth aside note that after 6 months the refund can be reduced to account for ownership (typically current ownership vs expected lifespan).

If/ when Very agree to a refund but offer low figure push back on this for a better one.

Final right to reject is detailed at the link below, I can’t quote on my phone but it’s given is pretty straightforward language, worth popping this over to Very with your request for a refund.
