I was just scrolling down to write the same as TELLIT.
The delicate section would have to be proved to be affected and I can't see the loss adjuster falling for that unless there's a crack from damage back along and theres just a chance it could be detrimental
The owner however could volunteer to pay for the unaffected part to be made better while the builder is about it.
This would improve the saleability and kerb appeal.
The builder would then as likely be inclined to get the whole section looking similar as he'd be using the same materials at the same time and weathering would be the same.
As the wall was already delicate and would need doing before sale the owner is getting the job done for half the price.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

TELLIT01 said:Whatdo said:The wall in its entirety is 60 meters long (200ft). damaged section is approx 11mts, the owner is not expecting the whole wall to be replaced but from the area of damage to an opening a further 5mts to an opening. The extra 5mts the condition of the wall is delicate but it has been shifted by the impact and made worse. That is to say it is was not sprawled out lying in the pavement and road.
If it has been shifted by the impact it has been shifted and therefore should be restored, if the vehicle had not collided with the wall would it have shifted?0 -
If the wall is dangerous, it would be sensible to demolish it ASAP. No time to wait for the LA to view it, if safety of the public is at stake. I don’t think that has been mentioned. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
