Refilling cartridges HP-364 on HP Officejet 4620 printer

What are the best cartridges to buy for refilling, is there any
difference in the quality of cartridges from different manufacturers?
Is it best to buy empty cartridges or just plain non-OEM ones and refill
them when they run out. The only ones I have at the moment are the
starter carts which I am not sure are any good for
refilling.

In theory you can refill any cartridge as often as you like, but the sponge become oversaturated with time.

Thats why I am wondering which carts have the best quality sponge? Also there is the issue of resetting the chips.Neil_Jones said:In theory you can refill any cartridge as often as you like, but the sponge become oversaturated with time.

Google is your friend:(haven't tried any of this myself)re: sponges, it probably stands to reason an "genuine" cartridge would have a decent sponge but irrespective of that, all sponges will go the same way in due course after a few refills whether its genuine or third party.1
