Faulty car
I bought a car online and exchanged mine in the deal but the car had faults. The dealer then reversed the sale for me but when they had my car I traded in with them they told DVLA that I was no longer the registered keeper. Now I have my car back and money back the only problem is that I have to register the car again in my name which now has de-valued the car as it will say 2 previous owners instead of one on the new V5. Should the dealer hold everything off until the cooling time ended. Thank you

...no......

How much has it actually been devalued by? Personally, if you got the deal unwound and your car back, you did pretty well out of it.

Agreed, the dealer behaved normally.
You are back in the position you started, the car is only a little older, number of keepers these days is pretty irrelevant.
You are actually lucky that the dealer was able to return your old car, it could have been traded the moment you left with the other vehicle.0
