Enterprise Van Hire Damages - advice please!

    I think its much simpler than that. Enterprise are likely trying to offload the cost of damage caused by the next hirer i.e. the OP does state that Enterprise are also claiming for damage to the front of the vehicle that wasn't caused by them. In the OP's case I would be strongly arguing the case.

    I doubt that the vehicle was rehired given the extent of the damage.

    I stand by my first posting. Yes the OP had admitted to the roof damage not to the subsequent damage to the front of the van. I would question every statement provided by enterprise and ask for evidence. Its a lot money at stake and at the very least enterprise should be made to work for it. There are numerous postings within MSE were vehicle hirer companies have attempted to dump unwarrnanted charges unto customers. To the OP dispute every single penny.
