I've been merrily using comments on an excel spreadsheet at work for the last few years. I've mentioned to others that I add comments to explain what info has been loaded in particular cells. It's also a great reminder to me of how to manage issues that the information on the spreadsheet generates.
I'm about to leave the company and have happily been thinking that my inserted comments will be helpful to others. But apparently no one else can see them. I'm sure I'm not imagining them (which of course would be highly worrying) but can't figure out why they are invisible to others. Do they need to click something to have these available when they open the spreadsheet from our shared file?
