Paint to go with these Dunelm duvet covers

We alternate between these two lots of duvet covers, mainly with the more coloured side uppermost. Do you have these covers, what colour paint have you used on the walls please?  I'm prepared to have dark on one wall and light on the other 3.  Large window, room faces west.

TIA

we have similar colours in the guest room. i keep the bedrooms old fashioned and cosy feeling so we went with a darker petrol blue up until about hip hight, a white border (we used a decorative skirting painted white) then a pastel blue above. with a nice cream/ivory chair the room feels clean and light but traditional.

we used the B&Q velspar paint. I think it was majestic peak and blue prism

Check both duvets for a colour that appears in both.  Get that coloured matched and either use the exact colour you've picked out or choose a lighter version of that same colour.

It's exactly what an interior designer would do - find the common denominators.

I would not personally bother with the full painted feature wall.  It's dated.    I'd either avoid it or look at something like colour blocking around art work to create an extra frame, of sorts.

We have the top one and our bedroom is a 'linen' neutral colour. I'm not a big believer in having everything matching - I prefer the colours to compliment.

Thanks for that, I get what you're saying but at the moment our entire house bar one wall of wallpaper is Dulux Barley White, with beige carpets from when we neutralised it to rent out. We've been waiting 3 years to get building work done, which is underway at the moment. I just want to inject some colour back into our lives!

I'd pull the pink out of both and find a shade that matches, then go for one lighter than the pink selected. Either paint the whole room in it or, my personal favourite, paint the ceiling in the dark pink and add a complimentary "white" (probably pink-tinted white) to the walls. It'll add a real statement, and it will make the room feel more closed in and the ceiling lower which is cosy for a bedroom.

I think the blue would be harder to get a match for.

(Also agree no to the feature wall - I do find them dated. Then again, I have always thought paint was one of the easier things to change about a room so if you like the feature wall, go for it).

Mmm.. you have barley white carpets ( nice colour) . Me personally would either go for dulux blue skies , daffodil white or ...aqua marine if you're brave enough . 😼
Imho, the colours I mention would go with carpet and duvet covers .

As for feature walls, when I was looking for my new home a few years ago , I saw a couple of bedrooms in different places with them and for some reason they didn't appeal to me .
They look really good in brochures / tv etc but in person it didn't do anything for me ..

Well so good to know. It's taken me so long to get around to a feature wall so now that's a job I don't have to do :-)
I knew it would look good and be fun but need redoing when the fashion went out and I'm not that excited by fashion when I have to do the work.
Interesting answers.I need to do something with mine and I'm clueless.
