NHS app identity verification query

Hi

My sister in law and her mom are due to fly to Spain on May 1st.

My sister in law completed the steps in the NHS app on Monday to verify her identity to gain full access so she can print off her vaccination cert.

The automated confirmation email said an update would take up to 24 hrs. She spoke to someone on 119 today and they've told her it could take up to 7 days (which is a bit ridiculous). Her mom also doesn't have full access on the NHS app currently.

Has anyone recently requested posted certificate copies and how long did it take? She really wants printed copies for her and her mom. Would her mom need to give permission over the phone to 119 in order for my sister in law to request her mom's cert?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks but does that link work if you've not been granted full access yet?

    Did you try it?

The online system has nothing to do with the app

Get an NHS COVID Pass online

You can get your NHS COVID Pass online if you're aged 12 or over.

You do not need to be registered with a GP.

You do not need a smartphone or to download an app.

You'll be asked to create an NHS login if you do not have one already.

I have passed it on to my sister in law, it doesn't work unfortunately. She got the same message as the app - "We have not checked your details yet, it could take up to 7 days" (they really need to update their automated email as that says 24 hours)

She spoke to 119 earlier and requested her mom's vaccination cert to be posted but it's squeaky bum time if it arrives in time as 119 said it takes up to 7 working days and they have a huge backlog.

I've also suggested she register for gp services online with her and her mom's surgery as it might be a quicker way to access the covid travel pass section on the NHS app.
