Student accommodation guarantor insurance for joint and several liability

Does anyone have experience (good or bad) of taking out insurance to cover joint and several liability as guarantor for their child's student accommodation?

No, but I have successfully come to an arrangement with a student letting agent that I only accept liability for my offsprings rent arrears.I'm a Forum Ambassador on The Coronavirus Boards as well as the housing, mortgages and student money saving boards.
