I wanted to add my opinions about money being left to grand children & wanted to add my findings but by the time I was accepted(following day) the post was closed. We are having problems executing the will in this matter as banks have stopped doing tryst stuff for kids. I was going to advise that the best way to leave money for under 18’s is to open a savings account which they will get at 16 or 18 when they likely to need it.

There is no dilemma for me, they should all receive the same, no question. Should be about unconditional love. Only dilemma I have is leaving it in a will. Set up a savings account (for those that are under 18)they receive when they reach 16/18 & leave your money to your kids to distribute. Trust me you, the trustees of the will, are going to be happy if they don’t have to open numerous accounts for anyone under 18. It’s like searching for a needle in a haystack trying to find a bank (or other) that will accept. Even if the will is executed by your solicitor they are unable to assist, unlike days of old when they dealt with it.0

Posts 'fall off' the front page as more topics are added, moving to Page 2, 3, 4 etc over time. They are not usually deleted .You just have to look through the pages to find in older post or maybe use the search function..
