    So to clarify

Your TV uses 0.028 kWh where as your iPad could use as little as 0.006 kWh plug in topping up to 100% (based on our 2015 iPad Pro)

Apologies for any confusion caused on your post was just trying to convey an extra saving you may want to use that we have also started to do👍

If you quote total energy usage like you have in this post you also need to say how long they are running for to give the context.

What you have said there is like saying "My car uses 10 litres of fuel and your car uses 5 litres of fuel" which isn't very useful because we have no idea how far the car's have driven to use that much fuel.

So that statement would be improved by saying:

"Your TV uses 28w where as your iPad could use as little as 6w plug in topping up to 100% (based on our 2015 iPad Pro)"

But I used that earlier stating watts but got pulled up

I think I shall never win this one, back to my corner I go lol

Not to worry off to work for me👍
You said "watts per hour" which is the incorrect bit.

Roger's addition, though accurate, was not strictly necessary (and slightly confusing) because it was already implicit from the conversation that the device (TV or iPad) was being used for one hour.

If you had said "For one hour's operation your TV consumes 0.028 kWh where as your iPad could consume as little as 0.006 kWh plug in topping up to 100% (based on our 2015 iPad Pro)" then I don't think there would have been grounds for any further complaint.

So all this pedanticness over me missing an "h" at the end of 6w to make it 6wh

It isn't "pedanticness".  That little "h" is the difference between people understanding how their bills work, and not.  As this site is MSE it is important people appreciate the difference and use it correctly.

I just took it as a standalone statement and thought it would be worth mentioning that if we are comparing the power consumption of two items then it's best to either do watts if it's a continous steady draw like a light bulb, TV iPad or if using Kwh then we also need to know the timeframe.
