PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Yeah most of those questions have been answered not known in the property information form I completed.
But for example, if you were asked if the property has suffered from subsidence, and you said "not known" - but you do "know" that it has had subsidence - that would be misleading.

@jcuurthht - "not known" is fine, it is not your property, you are selling it as executor and simply can't be expected to know everything (or anything) about it.3

Our vendor wrote 'not known' to heaps of things. Her estranged husband was in prison and we accepted it was difficult for her.Glad they kept him in for the full term though; he was guilty of 'bodgeritis' as well, but we knew that!

Just be honest,
Don't hide anything when asked.
Don't try to guess answer something IE if you don't know, say it, 'DON'T KNOW' or 'not to my knowledge.'
Neighbour disputes, 'not to my knowldge'
Bottom line, be honest and if you don't know, you don't know. If you do try to hide something, it will bite you later.
