Quality of LICK paint

I originally chose Farrow & Ball colours for my living room redecoration (recommended by a designer) but have since been advised against it due to the quality of the paint/need for 3 coats which mark easily. Someone else suggested LICK. I like the way that I could order peel off testing squares but don't want to go ahead with this without knowing more about the quality (after spending quite a bit on Farrow & Ball testers). I would welcome comments from professional painters or people who have successfully used it in their homes. I am also going to look at Crown period colours. Thanks

I highly, HIGHLY recommend Lick over F&B. I love F&B colours, but I've already had to repaint my living room thanks to all the marks that end up on the paint, whereas my high traffic hallway, done in Lick, still looks pristine.2

I looked at their colours (which are really nice) but I'm always wary of something that spends as much money as they do on Instagram advertising... it means their name gets about just because they market themselves so heavily, not because it's necessarily any good!
I've painted three rooms (so far) in Valspar Premum v700 and am loving it. Especially the Silk which has a lovely vinyl-ish finish that bounces light. My friends have done a full 3 bed restoration and every inch is in Valspar and it's held up. They do great colour matching too. My suggestion is to choose the LICK you like and then get it colour matched!2 -
F&B's modern emulsion is harder wearing than the estate emulsion. It has a tiny bit more of a sheen to it though it is still matt, just not super flat matt.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

We have used lick in our living room. We decided to use it as you covers everything, skirting, radiators and walls. Also you don't have to prime your wood and metal. To be honest I hated using it with a roller, just didn't go on well and we used two coats and three on another wall. It does look lovely now though and has that expensive look but we also used valspar and colour matched it to a lick colour for another room and would recommend using valspar. They also have a massive variety of colours if you didn't want to match it2

Oh I'd really recommend LICK! I painted a wall in my living room in their Green 09 at the beginning of the year and it is looking great! A little mfordable than F&B and just as good in my opinion!0
