Best way to compare my ISA performance

Looking for a simple calculator tool as I am considering moving my managed ISA to a global tracker.
is there a simple way to see what my investment would have done in a Tracker over the past 5 and 10 years?
All the calculators i can see appear to be predicting future performance.
I would like to compare what i did achieve with the managed isa, with what I might have achieved had i moved my funds 5 years ago

You can look up the historic performance of a relevant tracker on a site such as Trustnet.

You could as above simply look up the performance over the past 5/10 years of your fund vs global tracker.
Obviously past performance is no indicator of future...

Sorry for my ignorance
But if say the tracker performance said 50% over 5 years, had I invested 1k 5 years ago i would now have 1.5k ?
and then have to take off fees?was hoping to find a calculator tool to do this but seems there is none0 -
There is no calculator because the calculation is as simple as you've outlined, and the fund fees are already accounted for in the performance. If you have been contributing new funds regularly, then the calculation becomes quite complex. You'd need to know the price of both assets at every date you added money, but could run the calculation using the XIRR function in your favourite spreadsheet.KAS64 said:grumiofoundation said:You could as above simply look up the performance over the past 5/10 years of your fund vs global tracker.

Looking for a simple calculator tool as I am considering moving my managed fund within my ISA to a global tracker fund within the same ISA .
I am sure you understand, but a lot of new posters are confused between a S&S ISA and the funds within the ISA . So to be 100% clear I have amended your statement ( hopefully correctly )

Trustnet's charting tool is probably the easiest way to do what you want......assuming the the investments in your managed ISA are listed. You need to ensure you are making a valid comparison though.......however, without knowing what your managed ISA is invested in, nobody can help you there.
