I’ve had a look online to see roughly how long they are estimating for passport renewal applications and they are saying allow 10 weeks for this. That’s ok as we will don’t travel until after that point anyway but wondered if anyone had processed their renewals lately and if they could tell me how long it took? We have done them online, 1 child passport and 1 adult but with a name
change on that one.
Thank you.

It’s extremely busy just now, so don’t expect it before the 10 weeks. If you get it before it’s a bonus1

I must have been lucky. We sent off online renewals with new photos in the first week of March and they came back almost exactly 2 weeks to the day. Very straightforward and we had regular updates as they were received, approved and posted. 😊1
