I’ve never known that to happen, the lesser power models pulse when all the rings are occupied but that doesn’t cause one to boil over. I wonder if it’s working properly.FreeBear said:

Or is it me putting too much liquid in a pan.... Now that I know the zones pulse, I either use a bigger pan or cut back on the volume I'm trying to simmer.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
