It's moving forward. The new Code of Practice will be fully in place, including all its component parts, towards the end of 2023/early 2024. Don't lie awake waiting!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I read that and then it got me to wondering how can something that is passed in law not be enforced from the day it’s passed.Coupon-mad said:Its not like these companies haven’t known it was coming Where or who is the new independant appeals body none of the articles seem to have information

But then the BPA through a wobbly and it was then that we realised that the BPA were heavily involved in the scam.

You can see and a child could see that this was complete rubbish ?
But, this created a further consulation by government and boy oh boy did the crap start coming in ..... the idiotic parking companies replied to the consultation in droves, many with copy and paste. Some fool organised this and Sir Greg Knight (who enacted the bill) told me that ministers were no so naive.
He was right ..... the extra consultation proved to government that this was a scam industry and it resulted in the prices being capped and the fake ad-ons were banned
BUT we have to wait until at least 2023 and there is no reason for this.
The scam will continue until then with very dodgy legals attempting to extort money and thinking a county court judge is a idiot
This forum is all about scuppering these fools with great success3 -
