A ccj was registered on my credit report on the 23rd March 2022, i have been told if I pay within 28 days of it appearing on my file It will get removed and when I read online, it says even if I pay within one month, it will stay on my file for 6 years
Is it true if I can within 28 days of it appearing on my report it will get removed or I have missed my chance of it getting removed
Thanks

Do you know who registered it - and at what court? Do you owe the money?
If you don't know who put it there - and don't know that you owe the money - you might want to look at a 'set aside'.
If you do know who put it there, and you do owe the money, then yes - you need to pay it within one month in full, and then provide proof to the court that you paid within the timeframe, and again apply for a cancellation/set aside.
If you don't make it within the 30 days - you can still pay, but the CCJ will be applied to your credit files - and will be marked as 'Satisfied' if you pay it or 'Unsatisfied' if you don't. Both have a major impact on your ability to get credit - although 'Satisfied' is marginally better.
You mention that it's been added to your credit report - was the date you mentioned the date it was added - or the date of the judgement? If it's the date of the judgement you've just marginally got time to pay it in full if you're quick. (VERY quick).
If it was added to your credit file on that day, but the judgement was some time before, you're too late for a cancellation/set aside by paying in full. (If you knew it was there weeks ago - what made you leave it until now to do something about it?)0
