Can anyone more knowledgeable than me offer any help on the following? My daughter, who is 10, has recently had a Covid vaccine. Many countries are now classing children aged 5-12 as unvaccinated adults unless evidence can be provided they have been vaccinated. In the UK what internationally recognised evidence can you get to prove their status as the NHS app is only for people aged 12 or above?

Best be wary about the concept of 'internationally recognised evidence', as each country can set its own rules about what they're prepared to accept, so make sure that you ascertain exactly what your proposed destination needs.

When you say your daughter has had 'a Covid vaccine', does that mean the first of a two dose vaccine (often considered as not fully vaccinated, rendering evidence irrelevant)?

Hi, yes she has had the first one of two. She'll be having her 2nd in 12 weeks and then will be classed as fully vaccinated 14 days after. Will be travelling a few weeks after this. Although I'm still non the wiser about what vaccination evidence will be available to allow entry into a country which requires sight or otherwise where you need to test prior to entry which is why I was wondering whether anyone could provide any info. Having searched extensively there appears to be nothing

Worst case is you ask your GP for a print out of your record, which will include the vaccines. No doubt your surgery will try and put you off doing this, as understandably they are busy with other matters, but you are entitled.

A print out will not suffice, as a copy of your NHS records isn't classed as an internationally recognised format of your vaccine status. You can then be denied entry at the border. I

Still seems to me that your best bet is to review the actual declared documentation requirements of the country you're travelling to, rather than hoping for some sort of international standard - do you know where you're going yet?
