Facebook marketplace busy

FB marketplace had really slowed down for me these past few months , but this past week it’s been very busy again, one might almost suspect settings or something have been tinkered with!

I've had people collecting every day since Thursday , I’ve got one more to come today and I have moser things to list. Garden stuff and mixed boxes of car boot stuff is goi g well, I even sold some LPs (very cheaply though), my house might even start to look tidy at this rate. 

Obviously I’ve got the usual smattering of time wasters, one is cross at me as they were supposed to collect in the week but ‘forgot’ twice ,then were  definitely going to collect Saturday but when I messaged them after they were Late  they used the usual excuse that their car has broken down. They then said they will definitely collect Wednesday - but meanwhile I had sold to someone else who has already collected this morning.

What is the trick then?  some tips will be handy!

For me it has been dead for weeks now - except for the "is your item similar to ......" ones.

And I am getting a lot of messages from Facebook itself re "looks like you have listed this item before............"

I don’t know what I did but it was like someone flicked a switch. The only thing I did do was to remove a whole load of old adverts (I find it slow and time consuming tidying up my sale posts as I have quite a lot) , I listed a whole load of new posts on their over complicated new listing tool and I replied to every query . I reported every single ‘is your item like this …..’ spam and blocked all the senders. 

I have also re listed many of the ones that FB say have been listed for a while. 

I have 2 items to post today and one collection tomorrow but the rush seems to have stopped again at the moment. I am waiting to see if a couple of people get back to me that I responded to last night (I think both will be posted if bought). Before this I don’t think I’d sold more than  3 things in the previous month.
