What Small Things Will You Do This Week?? 18/04/22

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important 😀

Today I have finally listed some sewing patterns for sale. I will also do a meal plan after looking in the freezer which should mean I shouldn’t have to shop until Friday at the earliest. Also going to look for other stuff to list for sale.2

went to the boot sale ended up buying plants for the garden
we also did a freezer shop! Tonight’s dinner is fish and chips, but home made chips from left over spuds from making roast dinner. So my plan of action debt wiseMain job payday is 29th so I’ll pay £200 to likely loans to pay that off, I’ll then be left with Aqua at £273.48 but I’m going to pay the £3.48 now to round it down. Then 118 at £1880. So my next focus is Aqua which I could pay off next month as payday from Sainsburys is the 6th. Then hopefully by May I will only have 118 loan to pay, meaning being debt free by August is very doable. I think they only ever offered me 25% off my balance so once it’s down to a number I can realistically pay in one go I will.Plans for the rest of the daymake lunch for workmops the floorssit down and budget and see how much I will have left over at the end of this payday as I’ll only have the two debts going forward.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards.
