Can I have 2 cables from Sky dish if I have Sky Q?

Thanks for all the replies. I've tested all combinations of mini boxes, hdmi cables and hdmi ports. Some seem better, some are definitely worse but none solve the problem.
It seems that I cannot add a second cable (see photo) as suggested, I'd have to remove the existing connectors and connect the new one if I go down that route. Does anyone have any idea as to how to stop the ends of the cable becoming wet when not attached?
As an aside (see 2nd photo), should there be connectors in the cable so close to the dish? I had assumed that it should be a complete cable devoid of taped up connections.

You should have put heat shrink wrap around the connection joint, something like this.
