Storage solution for music equipment in small flat ..

Sorry, a bit long winded..

Moved into my small Victorian converted flat a few years ago living on my own. Thankfully 2 bedrooms but being what it is , odd shaped and pokey .
oh, and the boiler is in the small bedroom! Fair enough I said after much hesitation, as that would be the music room. This is basically a home office design also although I don’t work from home .

While trying to get everything in the flat sorted from scratch in a very short time , I find I’m still struggling with clutter , but not as bad as it was.I purchased computer desk / sideboard etc and maybe I purchased wrong stuff.
Being on my own with a couple of visits a year pre covid , I have chair bed and sofa whenever that is required . I could move computer and stuff anywhere really , and possibly use that room as my main bedroom.

I was thinking of possibly a computer hideaway desk / computer wardrobe etc, but that synth on-top of the sideboard wouldn’t fit . A few bass guitars are currently behind the sideboard.

Anyway, here are pics of the rooms in question.
Thanks 😬

You could use VSTi’s in the DAW instead of multiple hardware synths.
I have plenty of keyboards that I use for live playing but I record now only using a 4 octave
midi controller running Cubase and Halion Sonic 3.
All the sounds I need and as good I think as hardware.

I’m a keys player so this compact setup is fine. I just need to setup my studio speakers.
For guitar/bass recording you just need an audio interface. I have a Steinberg UR22c.
No need for a mixer as you record tracks one at a time.

Thanks for your help @danrv😼 nice setup there ..
I did think about going software only at one stage , but I do love the hardware synths .
    Plus the basses . 😼
I do have Audo interface and mixer , and record on GarageBand ( soon logic) .
I did record on Reason but my Mac updated overnight and Reason doesn't work now.

I purchased the moog grandmother when I had spare cash when I moved . It's only a couple of years old and unfortunately that led to me going on fleabay for other bits . I've stopped now 😬

I think the way forward , is to have if possible one long tidy wall or shelving .
Having stud walls , is another pain 😾

Shelving stepped level is what I would suggest - professionals can easily ID strong points on stud walls.

Ensure they are deep enough but need to balance with space.

Also consider wall fixed plug sockets.

It is a fantastic desk, and I was trying to track another one down , as it has storage underneath the glass top

This is where I did put the computer desk initially , with the chair beds going into the " home office " It was ok , but the moog keyboard couldn't go on there . I did look at those music production workstation desks, but believe it or not there isn't anything out there in a realistic budget .  They still seem to concentrate on those pullout drawers for computer keyboards which I cannot get on with ..
