Hi,
Does anyone know how I'd go about attaching
this back into the wall? (The box on the floor) had the room plastered and they've left it out

The box on the floor looks like one of the newer NTE5C master sockets and it has 3 parts, the back box, the master socket itself and the faceplate. You'll need to remove the faceplate and master socket and reattach the back box on to the wall. The faceplate will come away via the tabs on the side then you simply unscrew the socket plate away from the back box.
You might be able to get away without removing the wires but if you have to they're attached via a cam lock system so there's no tools required, just lift the cam lock, pull out the wires (might be worth taking a pic of which wires go where), then refit. If you do have to remove the wires then you'll need to cut them back slightly before refitting.2 -
Looks like the phone line with cable (TV) rather than a BT line... is it still in use?Andybooth23 said:
