If you have put in your best and final offer then all you do is wait till Tuesday when everyone will have put in their best and final. Usually you do get a date 'best and final bids to be submitted by xx' but in this case they waited till you submitted, then said the end date.
I much prefer 1 bid to save back and forth, but understand others don't.
It's up to the seller, the EA is paid by them and ultimately if that's what their client wants to do.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....1 -
If you aren't successful and are in this position again OP, some people put a letter in with their final bid.£216 saved 24 October 20140

Apparently taking my shoes off for the viewing impressed my vendor. Who knew! But it was a shame when I couldn't go out into the back garden!£216 saved 24 October 20141

however, I would imagine some vendors would love the superiority they feel from begging letters.0 -

I can't understand why anyone would refuse to let anyone view their house if they have not yet accepted an offer ? Sounds like the estate agent is doing exactly what their client is paying them for i.e. extracting the best possible offers from all interested parties. Sounds like a job well done.1
