Hello anyone still reading this rambling thing 🤣
I was in the office today, was in a rush so took breakfast but didn't get time to make lunch. Bought a small sushi from M&S.
We're at the wedding tomorrow, so I sorted the wedding gift out. The happy couple are in their 50s and have All The Things so rather than give cash or another bottle of champagne I made them a breakfast hamper - 2 nice big mugs with hearts on, a posh tin of tea bags, nice jam, chocolate biscuits, and a fancy candle, all from M&S. Including the basket, tissue paper and the card it was £40 which I thought was quite good value.
Also got a new pair of earrings to go with my new dress, £6.99 from h&m.
It's looking like it will be a beautiful day for a wedding ☀️Unsecured debts total -

What a lovely gift. Enjoy the wedding x1

Well what a lovely day we had yesterday at a beautiful wedding! There was a card magician who quite genuinely blew my mind, he was amazing.
Of course I cried all through the ceremony,.the speeches and the first dance. I'm so easily reduced to a wreck 😂
On the financials I only spent £3 on a drink all day.
We're heading off camping today, we were meant to be packing yesterday morning and then when we got home, but had to set off earlier for the wedding due to a road closure, and didn't leave the wedding until gone 9, much later than planned, so this morning I've been up early sorting out all the things.
Need to nip to the shops for bin bags, toiletries and antihistamines.
I've got £105 in my holiday spends pot (it's a round-up pot that automatically rounds up all purchases and puts the difference in), hopefully that will cover lunches and ice creams for the 4 days. Days out will be national trust or lakes and parks. Thank goodness for sunny days!Unsecured debts total -

Good morning friends 😊
Half term is DONE, hoorah! Mostly stuck to budget but not completely, I splurged on kayak hire on one day, the weather was glorious and it was 100% worth it.
Yesterday was very expensive, took the older 2 to the cinema and yo sushi for a treat. Had a lovely day but am now £100 lighter. Won't be doing that again in a hurry.
Budget is now all spent and payday is 17th so I've got a lean week ahead. I've got no planned spends but will need to do a food shop at some point. Will try and eat out of the cupboards as much as possible this week.Unsecured debts total -

Hello friends!
So glad the storm came and freshened up the air - I've never felt so sweaty 🥵
It was so hot yesterday I took the kids swimming. I hate swimming at the local baths, I think they're grotty and cold and miserable, but the kids love it and actually it was nice to cool down. It was £19 for 5 of us for 90 minutes, not the cheapest but got us out of the sun, out of the house and off screens for a bit.
Today could have been a NSD but I got the 2 big kids ice lollies on the way home from school, they were so hot and all their mates had one so felt so mean to say no.
Tea was out of the freezer, batch cooked Bolognese, but we're running quite low on supplies. I can probably avoid Aldi for 1 more day.
I've worked out I've only got 7 more Tuesdays with child 3 before the big 2 start summer holidays, and then he's at school in September 😩. Need to pick some lovely things for us to do, but don't want to spend loads. Tomorrow we're going to a nice park with a big sandpit in the morning before it gets too hot.Unsecured debts total -

Swimming sounds like it was good fun.

Oh gosh it's been a tricky few days, kids with vomiting bugs and a lot of stress at work...
Taken my eye off the financial ball a bit but all the talk of inflation is worrying me, our mortgage fix ends October 24 so I want to be in the healthiest possible place by then to weather the likely storm.Unsecured debts total -
